About Us

Jim founded ONTARIO ESTATE CONSULTING SOLUTIONS INC. in 2017 after a long career as the partner in charge of the financial services practice of a prominent local insurance brokerage in Waterloo Region.

Jim has a business degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a chartered accountant and holds both Canadian and International estate planning credentials.

The firm is a member of the Waterloo Wellington Estate Planning Council, the Estate Planning Council of Canada, the Greater KW Chamber of Commerce and the New Hamburg Board of Trade.

Jim's community involvement includes the Rotary Club of Kitchener Westmount, Country Hills Church and he serves on the board of the Morningside Village Homeowners' Association in New Hamburg.

Jim and his wife Penny have two adult children and two grandsons and enjoy involvement with local ukulele and drumming groups and have too many hobbies to keep track of!

Keith joined as a partner in ONTARIO ESTATE ONSULTING SOLUTIONS INC. in 2017 after a 40 plus year career in the financial services sector primarily focused on estate planning and estate administration.

Keith has a degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, and holds accreditation as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute(FCSI).

He is a member of the Hamilton Estate Planners Council and several other professional organizations.

Keith and his wife Margaret have two children plus a miniature schnauzer that provides them with endless entertainment. When not working on a client file or doing consulting work Keith can usually be found restoring a vintage motorcycle or journeying to the links to lose a golf ball.
